Technical skills : Week 4 Blog 2

   Live.Laugh.Love

I have become much better at learning how to use taskstream. This new technology seemed like a different language to me. After our third class, I have finally come to the realization that it is not as difficult to use as it may seem. I am able to create new tabs under my Examples of Technology Usage in Education section. This made my whole ePortfolio much more organized. I have also learned how to add the Standards to each of my projects. Technology can make everyone very stressed and frustrated, when not knowing how to use it. Once I was finally able to learn how to add the Standards, I was easily able to add each of them to each project. This was so nice to finally learn and apply the new knowledge I learned to taskstream. I would definitely not say that I am a professional at taskstream, but I am definitely on the right path to a successful taskstream experience.

  1. Although this technology class is beneficial, Taskstream is still very confusing to me. I think that without Shufang being there to help us get through what we need to have up on taskstream that I would be lost and give up. I enjoy taking EDU 315 because it shows me a lot of new programs that I can use in my future classroom and it helps me become familiar with these programs so that I am comfortable with them when I use them later on down the road.

  2. Taskstream is something very new and different for me. My suitemate already has an account so she's been helping me navigate through it. I think it's a great way to help us stay organized and keep all of our work together in a professional manner.

  3. I found taskstream as well to be confusing at first. It absolutely did take time getting use to and learning how to navigate through. I feel is it a useful tool for us to have as future teachers because all of our work is submitted on here and when we go for a job interview we hand them a desk that has everything on our taskstream on it since this is our "e-portfolio." I am excited to see what our taskstreams will look like after everything is uploaded onto it.
